I finally have a recipe to put up here! Chicken Pot Pie. Very Simple, not very fast, it can be as involved as you want to make it, but like I said, it is very simple.

You’ll need:
- Pie crust of choice
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 chicken breast; cooked, shredded
- 1 cup frozen vegetables
Preparation: Preheat oven to temperature required for crust.
Step 1 – Roll out the pie crust into your greased baking dish (I use 6 individual pie tins but this recipe works in a 9-inch pie plate). Par-bake crust for about 5 minutes, then remove from oven.
Step 2 – Meanwhile, mix soup, chicken, and vegetables in a bowl until combined. Pour mixture into pie crust.
Step 3 – Bake according to crust ingredients.
Halloween 2019
Here’s a photo of us in our Halloween costumes (that I made). Meeko as Mulan, Luna as Mushu, Billy as Fa Zhou, and me as the Matchmaker. These costumes have been overwhelming me for about two months. Between acquiring the material, doing things and having to force the kids to try them on periodically, being so tired from momming all day it was really difficult for me to enjoy these costumes when it came time to wear them and show off for our church friends. Nonetheless, here you go, Internet.

I started composing this post a couple days after this event. Now, as I finish it up I have completed all my sewing crafts and a huge weight has been lifted from my shoulders.

But when these Halloween activities that include costumes take place before Halloween it makes the actual holiday not as special for me. It’s not even Halloween and I’m already thinking about Christmas. I’m sure this happens to a lot of people but it makes me sad that I don’t want to wear the costume that I’ve worked so hard on. I will work on this. Because I LOVE Halloween! Next year I think I will make a costume for myself and be whatever I want to be and then make everyone else’s to go with mine.
Birthday Bash 2019
Here’s a photo of Meeko’s birthday dress (that I made).

The party at Nickelmania was crazy! It was not the party of my dreams. I was not expecting to pay what they charged me for the party. I didn’t feel like I decorated the party room as well as I wanted. I couldn’t find the perfect adhesive for the Tiki Ears. “Freeze Dance” was not as smooth as I’d hoped and I didn’t have the right music for it. I completely forgot to practice freezing with Meeko so she didn’t know what to do. We didn’t play the Tiki Room song even once. Some of the other kids interfered with the integrity of Meeko’s birthday party. The arcade was packed with people so I didn’t get to enjoy the games as much as I’m used to. Meeko didn’t get a nap that day and she was worn out so quickly that I think she didn’t enjoy the time as much as she usually does. And to top it all off, I didn’t take any pictures of any of it (not even the birthday girl) so any memories I have will be from someone else’s perspective. Anyway, here’s our family celebrating the fact that we have kept our firstborn alive for 3 whole years.

We like pineapples.
And now, ON TO THANKSGIVING! I do love the holidays. All of them.
P.S. What are you thankful for? What do you do or use every day? What has changed your life that you are so grateful for? Who has stuck by your side or who has left and you are better off for it? Think on it. Comment on this post or post it on your own social media. This world needs more gratitude.
